Pfff okay. So apparently Liv tagged me and now I have to write six crazy things about myself and tag six other people and make them do the same thing. I'll do it but am not taking the time out to tag. *is too lazy to look up six new people*

2. I wrote 50,125 words for NaNoWriMo my first year running

6. I am legal to drink in Europe and can buy porn and half-liquor in Ohio, and yet have not bothered to learn how to drive

That's, erm, pretty much all I have to say about that

This last week after Thanksgiving was the easiest of the month. I wrote 7,000 words in two days and caught up to Casey (my writing buddy/personal threat deliverer) just in time to pass the 50K mark with her about half an hour ago.

For a while I thought I wouldn't do it but everyone encouraged me (and hinted at my violent death should I quit by turn) and so I kept going and wow, I've got a lot to show for it.

Am v. happy right now. I doubt I'll sleep tonight.

I got to 40k yesterday. 10k to go. I can EASILY do that in a week.

I'm going to begin with something different before I head into my regular NaNoWriMo rant.

So I'm talking to Liv just now and she's sending me all these music jokes. The following conversation excerpt goes as follows:

Liv: You know you're a band geek if: the band uniforms turn you on XD!!!!!!
Me: *grins*
Me: yup
Me: haha that totally makes me want to write erotic band geek love
Liv: *DIES LAUGHING* OMFGGGG DO IIIIIIIITTTTTT
Me: nooooooooooooo *giggles*
Me: I'm a nice little girl
Me: we don't do things like that
Liv: XD NO YOU'RE NOT
Liv: You just said THAT!
Me: *grins*
Me: even nice little girls have their moments
Me: you know what they say about good girls
Liv: XD make wild women
Me: 'zactly
Liv: *busts up laughing once more* omg I love you
Me: *grins* thanks

Let this be a lesson to all of you whom I chat with online. You need to be very, very careful what you say to me as it gets later and later in the evening. My inner whore likes to pop out and have fun with you.

Now for the rant...I am having issues with DW AGAIN. It's not that I don't want to write it, as I've finally gotten where I want to be, have passed 30k, and am in a generally good mood.

My brain has this complex with writing at the pace NaNo demands, at least for this particular story. Keep in mind it took me almost three years to write the last draft of it. Subliminally, I can't grasp that the story will be finished, or at least very close, by November 30 at 11:59. Normally I'd be back at chapter three, IF that, by this point. Instead I'm past the halfway point. The part of me that likes to take my time hates that. So while I'm attempting to type out the next scenes as fast as my fingers will go, my brain is yelling 'SLOW DOWN, BESSIE!' in the background.

I guess my Inner Editor hasn't really vacated for the month.

What's not helping is the fact that I was looking forward to going to my grandmother's for Thanksgiving, but we're not going after all. My theory teacher scheduled a stupid EXAM for the day that we wanted to leave, and I can't miss it or my grade is screwed, and he won't let me take it early. So my parents decided that since they can't leave when they wanted it's going to be too stressful to make the drive, and we canceled the trip.

I hate Dr. Hanks right now. Normally, I like him, but throwing that stupid wrench into my holiday plans was completely unfair. Grrr.

All right. Time for me to run get coffee and then get back to writing.

P.S. 'Bitte' is actually a German word meaning 'please' or 'you're welcome.' In Musicstudent, it has a different meaning that I'm sure you can guess. I love my fellow H-berg peeps.
